I wanted to grow my business by 30% by working smarter but not necessarily harder.
To accomplish this, I focused on:
- Detaching my business decisions from my emotions
- Assessing my business in each area, so I could focus on what will exponentially grow the rest of my resources, including looking at what could be outsourced
- Improving marketing and awareness, so everyone around me knows what I do and that I’m excellent at it
By doing this, I wanted to create a flow of inquiries about how we could help or about setting up appointments as well as have the processes that most effectively made the most of the inquiries when they came in. I looked at how many appointments I needed and how to best handle those appointments.
Furthermore, it’s important to identify potential clients and how to manage those relationships to keep clients happy. To have my business run well, I evaluated what needed to be upgraded — whether it was skills, technology or both — so we could generate more clients and bigger case sizes. I also asked those around me, including clients, how they perceived our reputation as a business. Every year, I focus on a different area to improve.
I’ve been doing this for the past 10 years, and it’s not easy. There are many areas to look at to run your business smoothly. I have seen results from this though. I went from 30 or 40 appointments a week to six and still produce at the same level. I consider that a success, and I would like to help you do the same.
