Some clients are difficult to reach. Some you can get in touch with, but they aren’t able to schedule a meeting. Others could schedule a meeting, but not for a time that works for you. What to do about this?
In his 2016 Annual Meeting presentation, “Outlook to outsourcing: The compliant productivity ninja,” Ashley R. Pattinson, AFPC, FChFP, a five-year MDRT member from Baulkham Hills, New South Wales, Australia, suggests using software that gives clients online access to your schedule and lets them book themselves into a time that works for all.
“When the clients receive your email, they only need to click on the link and follow the directions,” he said. Those include selecting:
- The service
- Which advisor they wish to see
- When and where the meeting is to be conducted
- Two possible dates and times
- What they need to see you about
Then they’re done.
