Following Robert Fogarty’s Main Platform presentation “Dear World,” in which he showcased subjects from around the world posing with words written on their hands, arms and forehead, the photographer invited MDRT members to come up with phrases to have written on them as well. See below for how the photos turned out, and for why some members chose the words they did:
Jay DeFinis, Cleveland, Ohio
Words: “Focus on your goals. I am resilient.”
“Everybody has gifts, and we always focus on the negative. If we focus on the positive, amazing things happen.”
Dorin Israelian, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Words: “Live with integrity”
“If you live with integrity in all your personal, professional and family life, you live within your values.”
Greg Gagne, Exeter, New Hampshire
Words: “Get better.”
“We’re all at the Annual Meeting to get better. Lots of people that we love are ill, so we want them to get better.”
Rajesh Chheda, Goa, India
Words: “Ethics.”
“Ethics is everything. If you don’t have ethics, you don’t have a good foundation. Whatever you are is based on the foundation. If you don’t have a good foundation, the entire monument will crumble.”
Carol Kheng, Singapore
Words: “Mad obsessive mom.”
“Everything centers on my two children. My business, family, religion; everything that I live for.”
Travis Manning, Caledonia, Ontario, Canada
Words: “I do it because I care.”
“That’s how I run my business; that’s how I deal with people. That’s why I do anything I do.”
Adam Blumberg, Houston, Texas
Words: “Know yourself.”
“Anything that I do, and any other saying that I would have had, if I don’t know who I am first, I can’t do anything else honestly.”
